Qt/Mac 3.3

Trolltech's Qt/Mac 3 - ist ein C++ Funktionsbibliothek die das Entwickeln von Programmen für verschiedene Plattformen ermöglicht. Das Installationspaket (38.2Mb; PowerPC) empfiehlt sich zur Nutzung unter MacOSX 10.3.x. Es enthält Mac/Qt 3.3.5 mit allen Bibliotheken, Beispielen&Quellen, Dokumentation, etc. - kompiliert mit thread-support, Qt-basierter GIF-Unterstützung, sowie MySQL- und SQLite-Treibern. Falls Sie MacOSX 10.4.x einsetzen, können Sie ein entsprechendes Installationspacket (52.2Mb, PowerPC), kompiliert mit gcc 4.0 unter MacOSX 10.4.2, für diese MacOSX-Version hier herunterladen. Eine Installation von Apple's XCode wird zweckmässiger Weise zur Nutzung benötigt.
Für Macs mit Intel-Prozessor (Core Solo oder Duo) findet sich ein natives, d.h. nur auf diesen Rechnern laufendes "Mini"-Installationspaket weiter unten ("Komplett"-Paket folgt demnächst).
Bitte wählen Sie das, der von Ihnen genutzten MacOSX-Version entsprechende Paket, wenn sie Qt/Mac 3.3 komplett installieren, und auch selbst Qt3-basierte Anwendungen unter MacOSX 10.3.x oder 10.4.x entwickeln wollen.

Trolltech's Qt/Mac 3 - a multiplatform C++ application development framework. This is a binary installer (38.2Mb; PowerPC) of the complete package (libraries, documentatiion, examples, tools, sources, etc.) recommended for MacOSX 10.3.x. It was compiled using gcc 3.3 with thread-, Qt-based Gif-, as well as MySQL- and SQLite-support. An alike binary installer (52.2Mb, PowerPC) for MacOSX 10.4.x compiled with gcc 4.0 is additionally available. An installation of Apple's XCode is required.
For Macs with an Intel-processor you can find a native, only with these Computers working "mini"-installer package below ("full"-installer will follow).
Please choose the installer packages corresponding to the used MacOSX version, if you like to install the full Qt/Mac 3.3 distribution and develop your own Qt3-based applications under MacOSX 10.3.x or 10.4.x..

Trolltech's Qt/Mac 3 als "Mini" Installation. Dieses Installationspaket (12.4Mb; POwerPC) empfiehlt sich zur Nutzung unter MacOSX 10.3.x - es enthält NUR die Qt/Mac 3.3.5 Bibliotheken, kompiliert mit thread-support, Qt-basierter GIF-Unterstützung, sowie MySQL- und SQLite-Treibern. Falls Sie MacOSX 10.4.x einsetzen, können Sie ein entsprechendes Installationspacket für diese MacOSX-Version hier herunterladen (14.1Mb; PowerPC).
Ein Installationspaket von Qt 3.3.6 (GPL-Edition) *nur!* für Intel-Macs kann hier geladen werden. Falls ALLE gewünschte Anwendungsprogramm auf ATG schon als "Intel"-Paket vorliegen, laden und installieren Sie bitte einfach das Intel-"mini"-Paket, andernfalls benutzen Sie bitte auch auf einem Intel-Mac AUSSCHLIESSLICH PowerPC-Programme und Bibliotheken. Weitere Informationen finden sich im Blog.
Die Idee ist es, eine minimale Installation aller benötigten Bibliotheken "für's Klassenzimmer" zu ermöglichen, um die anderen, hier zur Verfügung gestellten Programme nutzen zu können.
Bitte wählen Sie das, der von Ihnen genutzten MacOSX-Version entsprechende Paket, wenn Sie einfach nur Qt3-basierte Programme, die auf der ATG-Webseite bereit gestellt werden, auf ihrem Rechner nutzen wollen.

Trolltech's Qt/Mac 3 as "mini" installation. This binary installer (12.4Mb; PowerPC) package is recommended for MacOSX 10.3.x. It includes ONLY the Qt/Mac 3.3.5 libraries compiled with thread-, Qt-based Gif-, as well as MySQL- and SQLite-support. An alike binary installer for MacOSX 10.4.x compiled with gcc 4.0 is additionally available (14.1MB; PowerPC).
A "mini"-installer of Qt 3.3.6 (GPL edition) for Intel-Macs only, can be downloaded here. If ALL applications on ATG you like to run, are already available as "Intel"-packages, this package is needed. In case that for some program(s) you like to use there is at the moment no "Intel"-installer, please use EXCLUSIVELY PowerPC programs and libraries even on an Intel-Mac - please see the blog for further information.
The idea is to provide a minimal installer "for the classroom", which allows to run the other programs provided on this webpage.
Please choose the installer packages corresponding to the used MacOSX version, if you like to install just a minimal Qt/Mac 3.3.x to run any other Qt3-based program provided on the ATG website.

MacORSA ist ein wissenschaftliches Programm zur Berechnung und Simulation von Himmelskörpern. Installationspaket für MacORSA 0.7 (12.5Mb; PowerPC). Benötigt Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 oder höher.

MacORSA is an interactive tool for scientific grade Celestial Mechanics computations. Installer for MacORSA 0.7 (12.5Mb; PowerPC). Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 or higher.

QCad (GPL Version) - 2D CAD System, das es erlaubt mit genormten ISO-Texten, Bemaßungen, Schraffuren, DXF-Dateien, uvm. zu arbeiten. Installationspaket für QCad 2.0.5.0-1 "Community Edition" - enthält nicht das Scritping- und Polylinien-Modul (11Mb; PowerPC). Benötigt Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 oder höher.

QCad (GPL version) - 2D CAD system with support for ISO-conform scales, fillings, fonts, DXF files, and much more. Installer for QCad 2.0.5.0-1 "Community Edition" - does not contain scripting module and polyline support (11Mb, PowerPC). Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 or higher.

AutoQ3D - Qt-basierter 3D-Modeller. Unterstützt den Import von Modellen im MD2-, DXF- und 3DQ-Format; Export im DXF- und 3DQ-Format. Installationspaket für AutoQ3D 1.10 (730Kb; PowerPC). Benötigt Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 oder höher.

MM3D (Misfit Model 3D) - ist ein Programm mit dem sich auf Triangulation basierende Modelle erzeugen und bearbeiten lasen. Die vorliegende Version verfügt über eine ganze Reihe von 3D-Bearbeitungswerkzeugen, unterstützt Texturen, und ermõglicht die Animation von Modellen und Szenen. Darüberhinaus existiert eine einfache, Lua-basierte Skriptsprache zur Manipulation von Modellen. MM3D (Misfit Model 3D) - is an application that allows users to create and modify triangle based models. It currently supports a variety of 3D vertex manipulation tools as well as texturing and animations. There is a simple lua-based scripting language for model manipulation. There is also a plugin system so that extensions can be written to provide more tools, commands, or model import and export filters. XDrawChem - is two-dimensional molecule drawing program with multiple import- and output-format support, analytical functions, etc.. Installer for XDrawChem 1.9.9 and Babel 2.0 (45.1Mb; PowerPC). Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 or higher.

BALLView - ist ein frei verfügbares Werkzeug zur molekularen Modellierung und Visualisierung. Es bietet eine schnelle, OpenGL-basierte Darstellung von Molekularstrukturen und stellt molekularmechanische Methoden (Minimization, MD-Simulation (AMBER, CHARMM), sowie Funktionen zur Berechnung und Visualisierung elektrostatischer Eigenschaften (FDPB) zur Verfügung. Installationspaket für BALLView 1.1.1 (11.3Mb, PowerPC). Benötigt Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 oder höher.

BALLView - is a free molecular modeling and molecular graphics tool. It provides fast OpenGL-based visualization of molecular structures, molecular mechanics methods (minimization, MD simulation using the AMBER and CHARMM force fields), calculation and visualization of electrostatic properties (FDPB). Rekall - ist ein Datenbanken-Frontend (im Stile von Microsoft Access™) für eine Reihe von SQL Datenbankservern. Diese MacOSX-Version beinhaltet Treiber für xbase/xbaseSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL - ein fertiges xbase/xbaseSQL-Paket zum Erstellen überschaubarer, persönlicher Datenbanken wird mitinstalliert. Installationspaket für Rekall 2.3.4 (23.4Mb; PowerPC). Benötigt Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 oder höher.

Rekall - is a database front end (in the manner of Microsoft Access™) for a range of SQL database servers. This binary of Rekall includes drivers for xbase/xbaseSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL - a ready-to-use package of xbase/xbaseSQL for the generation of/working with smaller, personal databases is included with the installer. gaiw - (Grace ASCII Import Wizard) ist ein Programm, das, über eine intuitive, benutzerfreundliche, grafische Oberfläche, den Import und das Erstellen von 2D-YX-Plots aus ASCII-Dateien in Grace erheblich vereinfacht. qmathplot - ist ein gnuplot-ähnliches Programm zum Erstellen von zwei- oder dreidimensionalen Daten- und Funktionsplots. Es bietet dabei viele verschiedene zweidimensionale Darstellungstypen, inklusive Dichte- und Kontourplots, und das Erstellen von 3D Oberflächen. Die Bildschirmdarstellung erfolgt Seiten orientiert, ermöglicht das Platzieren und Bearbeiten mehrere Objekte (Texte, Grafiken), und entspricht der Druckausgabe ("WYSIWYG"). qmathplot - is a gnuplot-like tool for plotting data sets in either two or three dimensions. It can plot many types of 2d plots, including pixmaps and contours, and 3d surfaces. It offers a full WYSIWYG mode with multiple objects on a single page. As opposite to Gnuplot, qmatplot is very clickable, so it might be easier to use for unexperienced users. Installer for QMathPlot 0.4.2 (2.1Mb; PowerPC). Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 or higher.

Qgfe - ist ein grafisches Benutzerinterface für Gnuplot (der "Qt Gnuplot Front End"). Das GUI unterstützt zur Zeit zahlreiche, aber nicht alle Optionen, die Gnuplot beim Erstellen von Datengraphen anbietet. Daneben erlaubt es Befehle direkt an Gnuplot zu übergeben - auf diesem Weg sind alle Funktionen Gnuplots zugänglich. Qgfe - is a graphical interface to the powerful gnuplot program, which tries to make your life with Gnuplot a little easier. It does not currently support every option of Gnuplot, but it supports many things. Qgfe does offer the ability to type commands directly to Gnuplot so its full capabilities are available through the GUI. A good knowledge of Gnuplot is required to use Qgfe!

Veusz - - ist ein in Python geschriebenes wissenschaftliches Plotprogramm. Benutzerinterface und Darstellung basieren auf PyQT, das Python-Modul "numarray" wird zum Bearbeiten von numerischen Daten verwendet (und muss zusätzlich installiert werden!). Veusz ist so angelegt, dass es publikationsfertige Abbildungen im PostScript-Format ausgibt (Plots können darüberhinaus als SVG-Datei ausgeben, oder in PDF-Dateien gedruckt werden). Veusz - is a scientific plotting package written in Python. It uses PyQt for display and user-interfaces, and numarray for handling numeric data. EBV&Illustration / Graphics&Illustration

Engauge - ein frei verfügbares Programm mit dem sich Bilder, die beispielsweise Datengraphen zeigen, oder Karten in Zahlen, d.h. digitalisieren lassen. Die entsprechenden Bildvorlagen kann dabei ein Scanner, eine Digitalkamera oder ein Bildschirmphoto liefern. Nach der Konvertierung lassen sie die Daten dann in anderen Programmen, wie zum Beispiel einer Tabellenkalkulation, weiterverarbeiten. Installation Paket für Engauge 2.12 (13Mb; PowerPC). Engauge - this free tool converts an image file showing a graph or map, into numbers. The image file can come from a scanner, digital camera or screenshot. Ipe - ist ein Zeichenprogramm mit dem sich Illustrationen im PDF- und (encapsulated) PostScript-Format erzeugen lassen. Es lassen sich Abbildungen für LaTeX-Dokumente genauso erzeugen, wie mehrere Seiten umfassende PDF-Präsentationen. Installation Paket für Ipe 6.0 preview 23 (6Mb; PowerPC). Ipe - is a drawing editor for creating figures in PDF or (encapsulated) Postscript format. It supports making small figures for inclusion into LaTeX-documents as well as making multi-page PDF presentations that can be shown on-line with Acrobat Reader. Installer for Ipe 6.0 preview 23 (6Mb; PowerPC). Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 or higher.

Evolvotron - ist ein interaktiver "Kunst-Generator" der über einen iterativen Prozess zuffälliger Variationen (mit der Möglichkeit zur Intervention durch den Nutzer) das Erstellen von Bildern, Texturen, oder Mustern ermöglicht. Evolvotron - is interactive "generative art" software to evolve images/textures/patterns through an iterative process of random mutation and user-selection driven evolution. POVEditor - ist ein plattformübergreifend verfügbarer Povray SDL Editor. FracPlanet - ist eine OpenGL und Qt basierte Anwendung, die es ermöglicht Planeten oder Terrains inklusive Ozeanen, Bergen, Polkappen, sowie Flüßen und Seen zufällig zu generieren und als POV-Datei zu exportieren. FracPlanet - is an interactive application to generate and view random fractal planets and terrain with oceans, mountains, icecaps, and rivers, then save them in POV-Ray format. It uses Qt and OpenGL. Installer for FracPlanet 0.3.0 (400kb; PowerPC). Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 or higher.

XenoMorph - stellt ein einheitliches Konzept zur Anwendung von polynomialen und morphologischen Bildfiltern zur Verfügung. Es ist mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Präzision, und weniger auf Geschwindigkeit entwickelt worden. Das Programm liest verschiedene Bildformate (PNG, JPEG u.a.) und seine Filtermodule lassen sich einfach erweitern. Installation Paket für XenoMorph 0.6 (950kb; PowerPC). XenoMorph - provides a unified concept of polynomial and morphologic image filters. It is built for precision, not for speed, that means it works in floating-point mode internally. It can read PNG, JPG and many other formats, and it writes PNG. A nice feature of this software is it's upgradeability by adding new filters. Installer for XenoMorph 0.6 (950kb; PowerPC). imgSeek - ist ein Programm zur Verwaltung von Bildersammlungen. Es verfügt über ein Bildinhalt-basierte Such- und diverse, weitere Funktionen. Die Bildsuche kann über eine grobe Skizze des Bildinhaltes durch den Benutzer, oder durch Vorgabe eines einzelnen Bildes erfolgen. Die Suchfunktion nutzt dabei eine wavelet-basierten Zerlegung der Bildinhalte des Vorgabebildes und vergleicht diese mit den Bildern in der Datenbank. imgSeek ist ein Pythonprogramm, das PyQt 3.14, Sip 4.15 and ImageMagick 6.2.5 nutzt. imgSeek - imgSeek is a photo collection manager and viewer with content-based search and many other features. The query is expressed either as a rough sketch painted by the user or as another image you supply (or an image in your collection). The searching algorithm makes use of multiresolution wavelet decomposition of the query and database images. imgSeek is Python-based and uses PyQt 3.14, Sip 4.15 and ImageMagick 6.2.5. neurALC - a program intended for working and analyzing neuronal multi-electrode recordings. Mesh - a tool that measures distortion between two discrete surfaces (triangular meshes). It uses the Hausdorff distance to compute a maximum, mean and root-mean-square errors between two given surfaces. IFRIT - IFRIT is a powerful tool that can be used to visualize 3-dimensional data sets (volume and particle data) based on the Visualization Toolkit (VTK - a suitable installer package of VTK 4.4 is available here). KSeg - KSEG is a Free (GPL) interactive geometry program for exploring Euclidean geometry. Social Network Visualiser - (SNV) is a GPL program designed to allow people draw, visualise and layout social networks. SNV can read and write various network file formats, such as PAJEK, sociomatrix and dot. It enables the user to visually modify an existing network or draw a new network using the mouse.
