Welcome to the ATG "kitchen"!

Here you can find free programs or libraries currently in "incubation" for a MacOSX installer package on ATG. For example Qt-based programs which were successfully compiled under MacOSX, but might display some strange oddities if you use them.
Or these are "official" β-versions, for which it is simply not the time to create a "nice" MacOSX installer package (this is mainly to allow others to take a look on some problems which exist with some, selected programs under MacOSX - maybe you have a solution...*?*). Besides that you find here packages for some terminal based applications like statist, Gnuplot, etc..

Programme / programs

Qt 4.2.3 Open Source Edition for MacOSX - Universal Binary build as frameworks - full installation including Designer, Linguist, demos, documentation, etc. for MacOSX 10.4 or higher (89Mb).

Qt 4.2.3 Open Source Edition for MacOSX - Universal Binary build as standard libraries - full installation including Designer, Linguist, demos, documentation, etc. for MacOSX 10.4 or higher (122.7Mb).

ktoon - open source 2d animation toolkit. Problem: crashes when opening project files; various "oddities" related to file pathes, palette positioning, etc. Needs Qt/Mac 3.3.x, MacOSX 10.3 (or higher).

eSvn - eSvn is a GUI front end to subversion (SVN), a version control system developed by the Tigris community of Open Source developers. For those who are familiar with Concurrent Versions System (CVS), subversion is CVS without the wrinkles, complexity and inefficiency of CVS. Since eSvn is a front end application it relies on having subversion installed. The main purpose of subversion is to be a file server that provides revision control services for a given tree of folders and the files they contain. Users can work in two ways with the file system, they can: access files directly over the network, or checkout a copy of the files to their local machine. Installer for Macs with PowerPC (MacOSX 10.3 or higher). Needs Trolltech's Qt/Mac 3.3 and SVN.

statist - Shell-based statistic program which uses gnuplot for graphical output. Download a MacOSX universal binary of statist 1.4.1 for use with PowerPC- or Intel-based Macs (tested with MacOSX 10.4.x). Needs an installation of gnuplot (e.g. below) and AquaTerm (download bookmark included). Freely available under GPL.

"Gnuplot 4.2 - is a portable command-line driven interactive data and function plotting utility freely available under GPL.. It supports many types of plots in either 2D and 3D. It can draw using lines, points, boxes, contours, vector fields, surfaces, and various associated text. It also supports various specialized plot types. Gnuplot supports many different types of terminals: interactive screen terminals (with mouse and hotkey functionality), pen plotters (like hpgl), printers (including postscript and many color devices), and printings to output file as vectorial pseudo-devices like LaTeX, metafont, pdf, svg, or bitmap png. Gnuplot is easily extensible to include new devices. Download a Gnuplot 4.2rc1 binary installer package for Macs with PowerPC (needs MacOSX 10.3 or higher). Or get a binary installer package of Gnuplot 4.2rc4 for Macs with Intel-processor(s). PLEASE bear in mind: either the PowerPC- as well as the Intel-version needs additionally an installation of Aquaterm to work (these binaries does NOT offer X11 support).

molsKetch is a 2D molecular structures drawing program based on Qt4. It has several functions helping you to draw a consistant structure quickly and easily. After you've finished your molecule, you can save it in all the formats supported by OpenBabel or export it as picture for further use in other documents. Regular used molecules can be saved in the built-in library for further use. Installer package for molsKetch 0.1 hydrogene for Macs with Intel processor(s) (9.7Mb; includes OpenBabel 2.0 and all required Qt4.2.3-libraries).
